Our Confidence In God!

Dear Family,

I pray that this letter finds you doing well and resting in the promises of God for your life.  It is our sincere prayer that you are believing God for the abundant, excessive, and unearned favor that only He can provide.  This is still the year of Clarity and our time to see God as our merciful, loving, and unchanging Father, and your time of recompense is now.

Hebrews 10:33 says, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.”  The Amplified Classic version says, “Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.”  From looking at this verse, it appears to me that our payday is connected to our confidence in God rather than our own abilities or the world around us.

“Confidence” is defined as, “assurance of mind, firm belief, trust, and reliance in something or someone.”  For believers, it is a firm belief, trust, and reliance in God, who is love and His Word.  Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;  and lean not unto thine own understanding.”  This means to be confident in the Lord, with all your heart and mind, and not rely on your own insight or understanding about a particular circumstance or situation.  Confidence in God’s Word, and in His love, will cause manifestation in your life and, above all else, your peace.

In the enemy’s attempts to short-circuit God’s promises from coming to pass, he will attack your confidence in the Father’s love for you.  This is simply designed to get you to bow down to his tactics.  Once you do, he can distract and overcome you.  Don’t let him weaken your confidence in God.  Psalm 125: 1 says, “They that trust [or have confidence] in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever.”  Glory to God!  You are like a mountain.  You cannot be moved!   You can defeat the attacks of the enemy by maintaining the assurance and confidence that you have in God and His love for you.

You can and will receive a great compensation of reward because of your refusal to cast away your confidence in God and in God’s love for you.  Stay focused on the “promises” of God for your life.  Continue to believe that God loves you with all of His heart, soul, and mind, and possessions.  Because He loves you so much, every promise from God will be established in your life.  Trust Him!

Wanda and I love you so much, and we pray for you often.  Thank you for your love and kind support for Christian Family Center.  My God continue to bless you more and more.  Remember Jesus is Lord and “as He is, so are you in this world.”  (1 John 4:17 NKJV)

Love In Christ
